At Rise + Smile Orthodontics, our mission is to bring smiles to our community.  We do this by creating awesome smiles that patients love to share, providing compassionate and joyful customer service that goes above and beyond patient expectations, and by giving back to our community as we continue to grow.  We are guided by integrity, positivity, accountability, and kindness.

We are a small private practice office in Southwest Austin.  We treat adults, children, and families with traditional braces, Invisalign, and Angel Aligners.  Complex surgical case or just simple alignment, we'll tackle it and get you the smile you deserve.

We accept most insurances, and we offer flexible in-house financing.

Dr. Mathue Faulkner is a board-certified orthodontist who believes that great care starts with genuine connection. He founded Rise + Smile Orthodontics with one goal in mind: to provide honest, high-quality orthodontic treatment that always puts patients first. Whether it’s through braces or Invisalign, Dr. Faulkner takes a thoughtful, conservative approach—never recommending more than what’s truly necessary, and always focused on long-term health and confidence. Dr. Faulkner began his path in healthcare at the University of Utah, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Medical Biology. Midway through his studies, he stepped away to serve as a missionary in Japan—a life-changing experience that deepened his sense of compassion and shaped the way he connects with families today. What Dr. Faulkner loves most about orthodontics is not just the transformation of teeth, but the transformation of people. Watching a smile slowly come to life—along with the confidence that grows with it—is the most rewarding part of his work. He especially enjoys guiding patients through early treatment when timing can make all the difference, often helping young children avoid more complex procedures later on.
