Dr. Jeremiah Sturgill DMD, MPH, DHED

Education: Dr. Sturgill kicked off his academic journey by attending King University in Bristol, Tennessee on an academic scholarship. He graduated with honors and earned dual degrees in biology and business administration. After college, Dr. Sturgill went to dental school at Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, located just outside of Phoenix. Again, he opted for the dual major route getting his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees. Dr. Sturgill completed the postgraduate orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedics program and graduated with a specialty certificate in orthodontics and a Doctorate in Health Education (DHEd). He was also chosen to participate an in implant osseointegration study at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He wrapped up his training by serving as chief resident for his program and completing rotations at the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center – Barrow Neurological Institute Cleft and Craniofacial Center. Phew! That was a lot of schooling!

Dr. Allison Williams DDS, MSD

Education: Dr. Allison Williams' adventure in academia began at Indiana University, a place where her fascination with biology and business not only took root but thrived. She graduated with honors in 2014 and, amidst her scholarly triumphs, she met her husband, Matt, while leading Young Life. From there, Dr. Williams dove headfirst into the dental realm at Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, where she didn't just study teeth — she graduated first in her class in 2018 with a Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, all with a sparkle! Next, Dr. Williams went on to accept a coveted spot in the elite Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry Graduate Orthodontic Residency Program. Imagine her, white coat and all, mastering the art of orthodontics, earning a Master’s in Dental Science and a certification in Orthodontics, all while trailblazing research in 3D printing. Through this program, Dr. Williams also gained extensive experience with interdisciplinary cases and served on the craniofacial team during her time as a resident, adding layers of depth to her expertise. And guess what? You can even leaf through her scholarly work in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, where you’ll find her research on 3D printing and orthodontics. With Dr. Williams, every smile is a story waiting to be told!

Dr. Anne Miller Harper DMD, MSD

Education: Dr. Harper's academic journey started at Clemson University, where she pursued Public Health Science, focusing on Pre-Professional Health Studies. She graduated summa cum laude from Clemson. After college, Dr. Harper attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she began her dental career. She completed the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program, graduating at the top of her class. During those four years, she realized her passion for orthodontics, leading her to Virginia Commonwealth University for her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and Certificate in Orthodontics.
