Known by many patients as "OrthoMike," Dr. Michael Wiernicki is a Board Certified Orthodontist dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles for patients throughout Boca Raton, Wellington, Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, and nearby South Florida communities. As a Boca Raton native, Dr. Wiernicki feels fortunate to care for families in the same community where he was raised. Dentistry has always been a part of his life. His parents have served the Boca Raton community as trusted dentists for more than three decades, inspiring him to pursue a career built on compassion, integrity, and exceptional patient care. Today, he continues that tradition by treating every patient as he would a member of his own family. Dr. Wiernicki attended Boca Raton Community High School before earning his bachelor's degree in Biology from Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA. During college, he also met his wife, Rosa, who has been by his side throughout his journey. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, graduating 3rd in his class of 126 students. His dedication to academics and leadership earned him the International College of Dentists Leadership Award, as well as induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. After dental school, Dr. Wiernicki completed his orthodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University, serving as Chief Resident. It was during this time that classmates and faculty nicknamed him "OrthoMike" because of his enthusiasm for orthodontics and commitment to delivering outstanding results. To further demonstrate his commitment to excellence, Dr. Wiernicki became a Board Certified Orthodontist—an achievement earned through a voluntary certification process that reflects advanced knowledge, clinical expertise, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Dr. Wiernicki enjoys helping patients of all ages transform their smiles with braces, clear braces, and Invisalign®. He believes every treatment plan should be personalized and takes pride in making sure patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their orthodontic journey. When he's not in the office, Dr. Wiernicki enjoys spending time with his wife, Rosa, and their son, Alexander. You'll often find him golfing, playing hockey, watching sports, or supporting local community events throughout South Florida.
