Dr. Michael Wiernicki, better known as "OrthoMike," is a Board Certified Orthodontist proudly serving patients in Boca Raton, Wellington, Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, and surrounding South Florida communities. Born and raised in Boca Raton, Dr. Wiernicki is passionate about giving back to the community he calls home. His love for dentistry began at an early age, inspired by his parents, who have cared for patients in Boca Raton for more than 30 years. Growing up around their practice taught him the importance of treating every patient with honesty, compassion, and respect—values he continues to bring to his own orthodontic practice today. After graduating from Boca Raton Community High School, Dr. Wiernicki earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA. It was also during this time that he met his wife, Rosa. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, graduating 3rd in a class of 126. During dental school, he received the International College of Dentists Leadership Award and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society in recognition of his academic excellence and leadership. Dr. Wiernicki completed his orthodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University, where he served as Chief Resident. His enthusiasm for orthodontics, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering outstanding results earned him the nickname "OrthoMike"—a name that has stayed with him ever since. Committed to providing the highest level of care, Dr. Wiernicki became a Board Certified Orthodontist, a distinction earned by fewer than half of practicing orthodontists.
